i've changed the embed to broadcast box for testing 

if you want your stream to embed you need to use "stream" as the bearer token, please feel free to increase your quality/bitrate as it should be no longer be constrained by the server transcoding it 

i'll switch it back to owncast if people feel that's better

i mean technically in terms of latency it blows owncast out of the water, but it is kinda bare bones in some other areas (no chat widget for instance)

The latency is amazing, even on P5: high quality settings, the latency is only like 200ms, probably a little less if you turn the presets and tuning settings as low quality as they go.

per the guy that made the project the way to get the lowest latency possible it to use software x264 encoding and set the tune to zerolatency, but honestly even without doing that it seems pretty much instantaneous

if you append ?cinemaMode=true to the end of the embed URL, the video resizes to take up the whole iframe, just increase the height to 335 and it looks ok.

well since we have a sample size of two people finishing a stream and being happy about the new software i've decided to retire owncast so the stream subdomain also points to broadcast box now too
you can continue to use the same url for streaming or remove the 1, shouldn't really matter

the stream token that gets embeded got updated to squishy though because welcome to stream's stream was a bit silly

i think i've cache busted the new changes, but if anything looks weird you might want to clear it manually
