i was just weighing on if i should disclose my identity or not.. but fine..
if you want you can use my server which is just sitting with 20 gigs of ram free and 4vcpus, i could grant you access through some kind of panel like crafty controller so you could manage it fully
if you want to still use your computer, instead of whatever this service is i never heard of before, my server could act as a relay/proxy, this however would mean we'd have to setup a vpn tunnel from my server to your computer which would mean the server would see your ip
to avoid this, you could connect to my server endpoint through a vpn of your own, but this seems finnicky and probably has performance issues
there's a third option which involves the backend, i.e. you exposing the server only through an onion address, and then my server would proxy all clearnet connections to the onion address, this allows for people to connect without using tor, but my server never knows what your ip actually is, which i actually tried with a website and is pretty cool as a concept but again this has sometimes some weird performance issues and things just dying sporadically requiring a tor restart for whatever reason occasionally
lastly, the simplest thing i could do is to make a domain record point to your joinmc address if you want...
anyway this might come off as me trying to take over your project but it's not really not and it's fine if you don't want any help.. i'm just trying to find some distraction from certain things right now...
