I tried going cold turkey like this to watch my reaction except stored my RAM sticks someplace instead and got severely depressed straight after cause i basically had nothing to distract me from the crushing loneliness and racing thoughts, so i went back to take them the next week lol

The only times i feel good are when im achieving something be it in a video game or irl, the other times it's talking to someone I like being around

I was gonna say this is too vague for me but you might be onto something, thing is, i believe being in this state is the only thing that's not allowing me to stagnate in life when i otherwise would be doing, simply put, achieving things gives me purpose to live
But perhaps I'll take your advice and slow down from time to time

idk i think its great u want to achieve things, it just sounds like youre gonna kill yourself if you fail. you dont need a purpose to live, youre already alive, its a gift and now you can do whatever you like with it. there are so many things to enjoy in this world, your own personal success is such a tiny sliver of what you could find value in. what about beauty, or kindness, or knowledge? even the smallest instance of these things is worth experiencing, pursuing, and creating, if that is what you value.
