I was intimately involved with my former college's yearly shadowcast of Rocky for years until my depression got the better of me and I just neglected my duties.

Most Adult Swim shows lacked any semblance of plot and the show's characters never really grew as people or changed as the series went on. I think Moral Orel was the first to change that after the season 2 finale. It stopped being a satire and parody on religion and became a serious drama with darker themes like rape, abortion, pedophila and sexual trauma. We see the backstory of the main characters and how their childhoods turned them into broken fucked up adults. The shift in tone is what got me hooked on the show and it still lives rent free in back of my mind.
