how can I choose the higher pleasures?
how can i choose emotional pleasures of unity and connection
they feel better
they give me more happiness than selfish emotional feelings
how can i choose physical pleasures that give me health
that allow me to participate in life in meaningful ways
because they feel better and theyre more long lasting than temporary physical experiences that end in suffering
how can i expand myself in wisdom and oness and greater states of consciousness

Make new friends and try serious dating? Talk to family members and spend time with them? Just having fun with people builds an emotional connection. I think hookup culture is poison for the soul and we really desire basic human interaction.
