tip I found out is you can add "browser Source" and put "https://stream.sluts4sale.com/embed/chat/readonly/" into it, then it Will show the chat up on stream whre u Wnt. I think u Need to us a Custom CSS for it, you can look up Custom CSS stream chat thing and put it in the "properties" of the Browser Source

i'm really not trying to be mean, i'm really not, but the voice is completely intolerable, it's so high pitched while lengthy voice training doesn't seem to be present, it almost comes off as a mockery. i know that we're all little cute gay anime girls here but it's really exaggerated and i think that even trying to be semi-androgynous is a step up.

also ideal stream settings are still 10000kbps, 720p, 30fps, anything more than this will break the stream and your video will buffer and keep erroring out for some reason
also passthrough mode doesn't and has never worked admin!!

been a while since i've set it up but i'm pretty sure that there's two transcoding presets on the server that will always transcode your stream no matter what, so trying to increase  the quality client wise will result in no increase in quality and higher values are probably just choking the server

regarding passthrough mode, this is where the server won't touch your stream at all and the stream will be just passed through, however it is important that you actually stream in a codec/container/profile combination that is actually supported by browsers, which is a pretty limited list

a safe bet would probably be to test with something like h264 baseline profile and go from there
 
i'm gonna try it out this weekend but i'm pretty sure that i already confirmed that as long as a html compatible video stream is outputted from your streaming client passthrough will work

seems to be 7-8 seconds to me? idk how that compares to other streaming services

i did some changes and the streaming latency seems to be about 5ish seconds now

i also increased the transcoded stream quality as it doesn't seem to be stressing the server that much, even if you don't manage to get passthrough to work the transcoded stream should look much better now, also it should be 60 fps as well... probably could've done that from the start...

idk, per this passthrough mode should work, try setting the profile to main, and you can increase the bitrate for better quality

anyway i think the server transcode looks good enough so you don't really have to even bother with it
if you really want to you can record a video using the same encoding settings you use for streaming and post it here, if it plays on the site it should work with passthrough on owncast

the 24fps 1 and 3mbps options disappeared in the video player and now only the passthrough option is left and the lag is immense, the stream is behind by 5 minutes
it was working way better before :(
