Abortions are part of medical autonomy. If you're allowing the government to arbitrarily declare that you must undergo medical procedures of their choosing you're literally saying it's okay if they will you if you don't inject bleach when asked to. Medical autonomy/health undergirds any possible ability to your defend yourself. You can't have e.g. the second amendment if you don't have medical autonomy. You can hardly shoot tyrants if you meekly submit to the tyrants cutting off all your limbs.

Real people in other countries have never had rights, nor have people who are not known to the law, so there's no negative externality.
