are you okay?? wanna talk about it? this happened to me yesterday, but it was on youtube. it really sucks but just try and remember that there are lots of people full of love and so even though really bad awful things happen everywhere sometimes good things can happen too!

it wasnt brutal or anything atleast and I didnt really see it happen exactly, they were just passed out on the floor a few minutes after I arrived and wasn't breathing, so I called 911 and after an hour of paramedics performing CPR and shocking her heart it was clear she wasnt coming back
it was probably painless, and it happened suddenly in front of her family, I was just there as part of my job
if i wasnt there to realize what was happening and call 911 for them they probably wouldve just left her there on the floor for a while longer because they had no idea how severe it was
she was just laying there like a ragdoll

she had bad diabetes and wasnt taking meds, and she had briefly passed out twice before but they didnt do anything like take her to a hospital
and maybe if i got there sooner and called 911 quickly enough she couldve made it
idk

ahh thats exactly the sort of thing.. i try to cope with stuff like that by thinking that their life maybe had lots of happy moments but.. honestly im starting to believe that the whole world has gone insane. to ignore something like that and to let them not take their medicine and to not take them to the hospital earlier.

it wasnt your fault. you were their angel and maybe the only person who truly cared about them aside from the paramedics of course.

ill be thinking about you! please use this space to talk about it as you like! you did a good thing squishy. you were like a hero even if things didnt work out, you still had enough empathy to at least try! you really really really did a good thing. thank you for existing

her family cared about her, but they were an obese black family in the ghetto and had a crack pipe laying out in the open, they just werent good descision makers.
im not trying to dehumanize them, but those circumstances are exactly why it got so bad

whoops! if they cared about her they would quit using drugs and do everything they could to take care of them. i know what you are saying though and also kinda agree.
