trve… my life would be so different if it wasn’t dominated by shame…

who knows, shame has the potential to either hurt or helps us. when we lack the discipline we can't find on our own, shame keeps us in line and motivates us towards it. when we feel an excess of shame, we are paralyzed in action, and are unable to be motivated towards anything but constant doubt.

you can always work to restore a healthy sense of pride in yourself, not through the merit of others, but the accomplishment and fulfillment of self. vve do be ballin tho

i believe society is in such a state, that shame driven behaviour causes a hecklot of harm, maybe mostly harm but who knows and also maybe depends on what you count. i do want to distinguish between the *emotion* shame and just any regard for what people think about you. for example a russian spy may not want to be found out, but thats not really shame
from the individuals perspective, its yet a different question. but basically i think, people need to take a chill pill
there is so much fake behavior, people fake it untill they dont even know theyre faking it. its kind of psychotic actually

i feel like either everyone else is faking it or something’s just wrong with me. i got hella bpd and depression and ocd in my bloodline so it could just be the latter!

i always try to open up to people and be vulnerable but it never seems to go well and i feel like no one sees the world the way i do or understands half the things I say or do

is that that blind tomboy (female)?

when you're inexperienced at something (such as being vulnerable and sharing your perspective/feelings with others), it's natural to be bad at it
your shame is telling you "no one understands me", but it's more accurate to say "i need to be better at being vulnerable and open"
treat it like a skill to develop instead of an inherent trait within yourself that you can't ever improve or change

i get that. It’s just sometimes hard to convey myself or my emotions when they’re so volatile and half the time i feel like “i really need to say/do something” i really shouldn’t do anything. it’s impossible to tell if im in a clear state of mind until im in a clear state of mind if that makes sense
