Prostate massage was used to treat prostatitis before the advent of antibiotics and is still used prevalently in China for that purpose.
Of course, not all men experience pleasure through prostate stimulation. Then again, not all men experience pleasure through many common sex and affectional acts. Everyone is different. That doesn't change the fact that the prostate is a highly sexually responsive organ or that prostate stimulation can induce orgasm, or, more commonly, enhance it.
The biological reasons for it again are obvious. It aids in ejaculation by making the seminal fluid more alkaline and thereby keeping sperm alive.
Since, in order for the secretion of prostatic fluid to have this function it must be secreted simultaneous with orgasm, the prostate becomes activated along with the rest of the reproductive system during orgasm.
It makes no difference whether one is gay or straight.
Hence, a straight man may be very turned on by getting his prostate played with by his female partner during sex.
Of course, many straight men, in fact the majority of them, may resist this, because they associate anal pleasure with gay sex.
And "being gay" is not considered cool.
Hell, for many gay men, "being a bottom" is not even considered cool. Or, if coolness is not the concern, is not how they define themselves.
And, of course, this coincides with the fact that some men, both gay and straight, actually don't respond to direct anal stimulation, perhaps apart from the psychological overtones.
