calm, squishy. sometimes, we get stressed out, our emotions prevent us from thinking clearly. we can only think about how awful everything is, and why everyone is out to get us. life still goes on though. there is still much beauty yet to be taken in, so many laughs to share, so many precious memories to make. it's like when you were a kid, and you saw a pretty butterfly, or some shiny bubbles floating through the air, and you tried to get your parents' attention to come see, but they were too busy to come look. it's not like they were ignoring you, they may have been stressed out over all of the responsibility that comes from looking over a child to make sure you grew up nice and healthy. regardless, all that stress prevented them from enjoying what was right infront of them, a beautiful moment of life, the wonder and excitement in your eyes, and the natural joy to be found in each passing moment. though we are older and maturing, as our parents once did themselves, we must also learn to let ourselves take a step back from all of these responsibilities and burdens that weigh us down, and learn to enjoy life again, as we once did as kids. i'm not saying to completely drop everything and live for yourself, but to know when you gotta take a step back and simply enjoy this short life, taking it all in.
life is suffering, and anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying to you, or themselves. i'm not here to change that. i'm only here to expose to you a different perspective to put your suffering into context in hopes that it may allow you to learn compromise with your emotions, and allow you to enjoy life a bit more. if, ultimately, none of this makes any sense to you, i at least hope to convey that someone out there is still thinking about you, and still gives a fuck.
