I just don't think shoes are that comfortable
plus they'd damage shit if I wore them at the machine or on playmats etc.
I don't really wear shoes inside, which is more or less the point of OP; skirts are nice and convenient but only really as inside clothes

Girl clothes aren't only good for event stuff
Skirts ARE comfortable. They're warm if you sit still or move reasonable, but you can flap then to cool down instantly. They're comfortable without underwear. You can wear them and masturbate and your legs don't get cold.

I had slutty skirts but they're scratchier and don't do much for you. Waistband tends to be too tight too since they aren't designed to rest on your hips the way real ones are. Big, long skirts that are designed for stuff like renaissance cosplay but essentially are meant as everyday clothes have always been the best for me. If you want to be warm and it's cold you can wear leggings under, if it's summer you just wear the skirt.

I wear black women's dress pants and floral pattern women's button up shirts in public. Wearing women's clothing isn't a big deal so long as you look like a normal woman in a causal outfit. The lolcow trannies I've come across irl dress like freaks in public with bdsm fetish gear or overly cutesy pink anime slop. One trans woman that looked like Chris Chan was wearing a black spiked choaker, a shirt that said something like: "Big Lesbian Energy", black skirt with metal chains everywhere and steel toe boots. Just dress like a normal woman going to the grocery store and most people won't bother you.
