>Did you notices changes in your personality?
only very slight ones, many of which could be placebo. my dose is so low, especially with no antiandrogen, which is probably one reason why they're slight
>That sounds like a bigger deal than you make it out to be.
yeah there are no scientific studies on it, but there are many anecdotal reports of it eventually even changing people's sexualities and making them much more attracted to masculine men, even if they weren't attracted to guys whatsoever pre-HRT. that hasn't happened to me at all (so far) and hasn't happened for many others, but many do report it has happened to them, and I think it may not all be easily explained by repression/homophobia/norms/self-hatred/psychological factors
it's dumb but basically testosterone may be neurologically correlated with stereotypically male interests/thoughts/behavior and vice versa for estrogen. not to the same degree as someone who's neo-natally exposed to one more than the other, but possibly still with some effect, in some or many cases
I did personally find myself feeling a bit more of an intrinsic interest in other people and in getting intrinsic reward from socializing and talking to and helping others when previously I've always been an ultra-stoic cold autistic schizoid guy, and I think it probably isn't purely placebo

>by the look of things you're just a metrosexual male who wants clear skin lol get a moisturizer
the dumb part is my skin was always extremely clear and smooth pre-HRT despite never using any moisturizer or anything. I kind of like/want the fat changes too though. and it seems to change not just the texture but the actual substance and composition of my skin itself, like it transforms into a different material entirely. it's like swapping out your skinsuit for a more comfortable and soft/elastic one
>it's still stupid because those men had low test to begin with, and are replacing it with the gel.
I don't know how it works exactly, but I think it's recommended to take it to reduce risk of size/function loss no matter how much estrogen you're taking. in addition to some degree of competition or suppression, the penile tissue itself has estrogen receptors. I'm aware taking too much can lead to the natural production decreasing which is why I just follow the once-a-week regimen, but maybe there's some optimization where I could do it a little more and make the trade-off (estrogen vs. endogenous testosterone vs. exogenous testosterone) as ideal as possible for maintaining size and erection quality. guess I could experiment more
